About Allison:
Allison’s journey to yoga came in early 2017 when she found solace on her mat. During a difficult period in her life she looked for a way to find herself and stumbled across yoga classes on YouTube. Feeling empowered she flew to Costa Rica to meet the woman that ignited her passion during a yoga retreat, @allie.vanfossen / @thebmsstudio. After being inspired by the self love, confidence and recovery achieved through yogic practices she knew it was time to take the next step and started on her teaching path. In the summer of 2020 Allison graduated from Whitman Wellness Center with her 200 hour yoga teaching certificate through YogaSpirit©. The story didn’t stop then - in the Winter of 2021, knowing now more than ever the world needed love and light workers, she enrolled in her 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training. Proudly graduating alongside her tribe in 2022.

In addition to her accomplishments as a yoga teacher, Allison is also certified in Holy Fire Reiki Level II. She has a firm belief that by going within we are able to heal ourselves as we learn to release stress, align our bodies through Asana, and become familiar with our authentic selves. When she is not in the studio practicing Allison is spending time with her family, friends, and dogs or curled up with a good book.

The practice of poses and postures, or Asana help empower the physical body. Increasing our strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. Movement is medicine.

Mental Benefits of Yoga
A regular yoga practice can help create and cultivate mental clarity, calmness, relief of chronic stress patterns, relaxing the mind and centering us. We also increase our awareness, noticing patterns of thoughts and how our bodies respond in the moment.

$75.00 - 60 Minute Private Yoga Sessions or Private group yoga class *
$100.00 - 90 Minute Private Yoga Sessions or Private group yoga class *
*Groups can be up to 4 students, may add more students for an additional fee.
